LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Live has partnered with In The City to present a two-day U.S. edition of the annual Manchester, England-based music convention.
The inaugural In The City of New York will take place June 13-14, hosting approximately 500 music industry professionals at the W Hotel for a series of panels, seminars and other related events.
At night on each day, attendees will be invited to the 2,100-seat Nokia Theatre Times Square to watch performances from up-and-coming U.K. acts. Domestic talent will also be showcased in other venues across Manhattan.
In The City was founded in 1992 by Yvette Livesey and Anthony H. Wilson. Since its inception, the convention has hosted discussions by day and live music by night, featuring acts such as Radiohead, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Elastica and Daft Punk. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
