LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Europe has tapped Sally Davies to serve as the new venue director at London's O2 Arena.
Formerly the general manager at the venue's indigo2 and The O2 bubble, Davies will now be overseeing the entire O2 facility, including sales, operations, technical, ticketing and marketing strategies. Davies will report into AEG Europe president and CEO David Campbell.
Also finding himself with a new portfolio at the O2 is Paul Newman, who heretofore, toiled as the venue's ticketing and box office manager. Now Newman will also be heading up the O2's entertainment and music sales and will report to Davies. Emma Bownes, fresh from a 3-year stint at Wembley will join Newman's team as a sales manager.
