AEG Works On Houston Soccer Stadium

HOUSTON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After moving from San Jose, the Houston Dynamo has been hoping for a new place to hang their hats.

The team, previously known as the San Jose Earthquakes had made the move to Houston primarily because they were unable to come to an agreement to build a stadium.

AEG has retained Oliver Luck as the team's president. Luck, as the head of Harris County-Houston sports Authority was significantly involved with the construction of three other stadiums (Minute Maid Park, Reliant Stadium and the Toyota Center) in the area. This may be a positive sign for stadium prospects. AEG has previously expressed an interest in building a soccer-specific stadium for the team and is rumored to be in negotiations with nearby municipalities. As of yet however, no concrete plans have been outlined. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers.
