NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Leiweke has been named as the Sports Executive of the Year at the Sports Business Awards.
Held for the first time on May 29th in New York at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the awards were sponsored by the Smith&Street's SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily.
"This is really kind of embarrassing for us. We try not to get focused on awards. It's a great tribute to AEG, but we firmly believe our best days are still ahead of us," Leiweke said in the SBD report.
