SEATTLE, WA (CelebrityAccess) — Australian indie-pop band Alpine has canceled their planned tour of the U.S. this fall, citing the illness of one of the band's close family members.
The group was providing support for the New York-based indie rockers Joywave.
"Unfortunately due to a close family member's illness we regretfully have had to cancel our upcoming US support tour with Joywave in Sept/Oct. We are so appreciative of everyone's support and we plan to be back over to see you real soon. Lots of love ALPINE," a rep for the band said in a post on their Facebook page.
The 19-date tour was scheduled to kick off on Sept. 14th at Barboza in Seattle and wrap up at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on Oct. 20th. – Staff Writers
