ANAHEIM, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Nederlander Concerts has been granted a five year extension to exclusively manage, operate and program the City National Grove of Anaheim, after a unanimous vote by the Anaheim City Council.
Nederlander has overseen the venue since 2002, producing more than 2,800 events at the 1,700-seat theatre, including Glen Campbell, Stevie Nicks, comedian Anjelah Johnson, Kenny Loggins and numerous others. Nederlander also was the first promoter to bring Broadway touring productions to the theatre, including Rain, Rock of Ages, Cats and Grease, among others.
City National Grove of Anaheim also hosted Major League Baseball’s Gala and Pre-Party events with a record attendance of 10,000 guests over two days in 2010.
Upcoming shows include Sesame Street Live (June 26 and 27), Tyler Oakley (June 28), Creedence Clearwater Revisited (July 12), Lilly Singh (July 22), Easton Corbin (July 30), Chris Isaak (August 11) and Lupillo Rivera (August 21).
