LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Entertainment conglomerate Relativity Media has named Andrew W. Levin as President of Legal at the company.
In his new post, Levin will oversee all of the company's legal and human resources activities and report directly to Chairman and CEO Ryan Kavanaugh.
Prior to joining Relativity, Levin served as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for T-Mobile USA. Prior to joining T-Mobile, Levin was Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer & Secretary at iHeart Media (formerly Clear Channel). While there, Andy managed the $24 billion auction and sale of the company to private equity firms and spearheaded the $2.5 billion spinoff and IPO of Live Nation.
"Andy is an accomplished attorney and senior strategist with an outstanding track record," said Kavanaugh. "I am thrilled that he is joining the Relativity leadership team and look forward to working closely with him as we emerge from chapter 11 with an incredibly strong collection of assets including film, scripted television, digital, branded entertainment, music and sports."
