NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Fox News commentator Andy Levy poked the hornet's nest when he took a poke at R&B singer Chris Brown on Twitter.
On Tuesday, Brown posted a tweet about giving up 'planking' (a fad which involves lying stiffly face down with arms to the sides in unusual public spaces) unless it involved a 'sexy lady.' Levy responded with a tweet of his own, saying "You spelled “punching” wrong" a not-so-subtle reference to Brown's felony assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown took the bait and chastised Levy, again via Twitter, suggesting that children comport themselves better than Levy. As well, Brown's fans leapt to his defense, tweeting a litany of insults at Levy.
Following the incident, Levy took the airwaves to deliver a somewhat less than sincere apology to Mr. Brown. – Staff Writers
