APA Auspiciously Adds Agents

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — APA has announced the addition of a bevy of agents at its Los Angeles and Nashville offices.

Steve Hoiberg and Tom Hoppa, as previously reported in CelebrityAccess, will be moving to APA. Hoppa will be joining APA's Los Angeles office as a music agent from TKO, while Steve Hoiberg and Clint Wiley from Third Coast Artist Agency will be joining APA's Nashville office.

Nicholas Trusty has been promoted to the position of concert agent in the New York office.

Hoppa's clients include Unwritten Law, Happy Mondays, Helmet and HED P.E. among others. Prior to joining TKO in 2006, he was a talent buyer at Live Nation, and has held positions at Clear Channel Touring, House of Blues, CAA, William Morris, Rick Sales Management and Singerman Entertainment.

Hoiberg comes to APA after 3 years at TCAA. Prior to that, he was a personal manager and an agent at Monterey Artists Nashville for 10 years after getting his start at The Good Music Agency in Minneapolis.

In addition to his tenure at TCAA, Wiley brings several years experience in the Texas "Red Dirt Music" movement. Hoiberg and Wiley's roster includes such acts as Band of Heathens, Sam Bush, Jason Eady, The Gougers, Corb Lund, Mike McClure Band, Scott Miller, Sunny Sweeny and The Wrights.

Trusty began his career at APA, working for concert and special attractions agent Christine Barkley. He will continue to work with her roster of artists and attractions, working alongside Barkley and concert agent Fred Hansen. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
