EDMONTON, Alberta (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler is reportedly doing well after undergoing surgery to combat a series of health problems, including a sinus and bronchial infection, which led to the band canceling their European tour.
“Just wanted to let you all know that the surgery was successful, and I am recovering nicely,” Butler wrote on the band’s website.
“I will probably start singing again this week some time to try and get ready for the shows in North America,” he continued. “It has been a blessing in disguise to be forced to stay home and read, and sleep…Regine and I have even started working on some new songs.”
The band is gearing up for a nationwide trek through May and June, as well as the Coachella festival at the end of the month. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
