PHILADELPHIA, PA (CelebrityAccess) — An arrest has been made in connection with a stabbing incident outside of an East Germantown bar that left one of Nicki Minaj's road managers dead and a second member of the tour severely injured.
According to the Philadelphia Daily News, Pierce Boykin, 31, of East Mount Airy, has been charged with murder in the death of De'Von Pickett, and attempted murder of Eric Parker, along with related charges.
Pickett and Parker allegedly tried to intervene when a bartender at Che Bar and Grill was approached by a group of men, when one of the men, who the police now allege was Boykin, pulled a knife and stabbed both Pickett and Parker.
The unfortunate incident in the parking lot was reportedly the result of an earlier dispute in the bar.
Both Pickett and Parker were in town to assist Minaj with her upcoming tour. – Staff Writers
