Barry Dickins To Receive Award

LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Barry Dickins co-founder of International Talent Booking (ITB) is to be awarded the Primavera Award in recognition of his contribution to the live music industry.


Dickins, the son of the founder of the UK music magazine NME, represents acts such as Bob Dylan and Neil Young, having started in the business at the age of 17 working with The Who.


He will receive the award at the PrimaveraPro conference in Barcelona in late May.


Dickins founded ITB with fellow agent Rod MacSween in 1978. Other acts on the company`s roster include Adele, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, Biffy Clyro and Mumford & Sons. –According to MusicWeek
