ST. PETERSBURG, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — December 1 saw the end of an era in St. Petersburg when the Bayfront Center was imploded to make way for a new Salvador Dali art museum.
The 8,000 plus seat venue has hosted a variety of events over the last few decades, from concerts to the circus.
The Salvador Dali museum had grown too large for its current location and local voters overwhelmingly approved a plan to relocate it to the site of the Bayfront Center. According to the St. Petersburg Times, the project still needs significant funding before any construction can begin. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
