NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Singer-songwriter Ben Arthur is readying the release of his latest album "If You Look for My Heart" which is set to drop on September 11 with a tour to follow.
The 12-song album will be Arthur's debut on sonaBLAST! Records and features guest appearances by hip-hop artist Aesop Rock and singer-songwriter Rachel Yamagata. In addition to the album, Arthur is set to simultaneously release his second novel, also named "If You Look For My Heart."
"If You Look for My Heart" is Arthur's fifth album and he has previously shared a stage with a list of artists that includes Dave Matthews, Tori Amos, Bruce Hornsby, Shawn Colvin, Toots and the Maytals, and Sophie B Hawkins.
Arthur also hosts the video series Dubway Days, in which, over the course of a day, he writes and records a song with another artist. Artists that have appeared in the series with Arthur include John Wesley Harding, Ollabelle, Vienna Teng, Tracy Bonham, and Latin film star and two time Grammy-nominee Ximena.
Arthur is prepping a tour in support of the album as well, kicking off on Sept. 9th with a performance at Joe's Pub in New York City and winding down on November 18th with a house concert in Cambridge, England.
