Bill FitzGerald, Of IMG Live, Dies


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Bill FitzGerald died on November 21st from an accident at home.


After working for CEG/Jim Baker and for Brian Alden, he became Senior Producer for Metropolitan Entertainment in 1990 where he remained until 1994. He was responsible for promoting in NYC and upstate NY. He then became VP of Concerts at Ogden Entertainment. After his stint at Ogden FitzGerald moved to the marketing side of his industry, starting at Momentum Worldwide as VP/Account Director. He then joined ignition, Inc. where he became Executive VP and developed, sold and executed award-winning experiential campaigns for diverse clients such as AT&T, eBay, Sony Pictures Digital, ESPN, Delta Air Lines, Discovery Communications and John Deere.

Since August 2008 he has been with IMG Live, focusing on Entertainment Platforms within IMG Consulting.


FitzGerald is survived by his wife, Karen Veitch (currently Senior Agent at Industrial Artist Management in NYC) and daughter Katie.
