Bill Graham Foundation and Rex Foundation to Hold Benefit Concert

The Bill Graham Foundation and Rex Foundation, long recognized for their support of art and music programs for youth, will present a festive evening of food, entertainment and silent auction. Proceeds from this event will benefit music and arts programs for youth in San Francisco and beyond. Worlds Together will feature Mickey Hart with Marley's Ghost, Wake the Dead and Bobi Cespedes at the Fillmore in San Francisco on November 8.

In the fall of 1983, the Rex Foundation was established as a non-profit charitable organization by members of the Grateful Dead and friends. The Rex Foundation enabled the Grateful Dead to go beyond responding to multiple requests for contributions, and proactively provide extensive community support to creative endeavors in the arts, sciences and education.

The Bill Graham Foundation was formed in November of 1991, following the death of the legendary rock impresario, Bill Graham. The foundation is a non-endowed public charity that is funded through individual contributions and support from the company Bill created, Bill Graham Presents.
