NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) Billboard is teaming up with Live Nation for the return of the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival to Long Island this summer.
Set for August 20 & 21 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, the festival, produced by Billboard in partnership with Live Nation, is expected to announced a lineup in coming weeks.
The 2015 edition of the festival proved to be a popular event, over 40,000 fans during the festival's inaugural weekend and breaking attendance records at the venue. The 2015 lineup included Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Little Mix, Kygo, and Fetty Wap
among others.
New York City is becoming an incresingly competitive market for music festivals, with events such as the Brookyln Hip Hop Festival, Panorama, Governor's Ball, Northside Festival Brookyln, Summer Stage and Electric Zoo all competing for bookings and calendar space. – Staff Writers
