Bob Lefsetz Set To Keynote 24th Annual Folk Alliance

Memphis, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Bob Lefsetz, Santa Monica-based music blogger, author of the e-mail newsletter, "The Lefsetz Letter," is set to keynote next year's Folk Alliance International Folk Alliance Conference. His writing is well known in the industry and he his readers range from Trent Reznor to Tom Rush to Bryan Adams to Quincy Jones to music business honchos like Michael Rapino, Randy Phillips, Cliff Burnstein and Irving Azoff.

Set to take place in Memphis from Feb. 22nd to Feb 26th, the conference will bring together over 2000 artists and music industry professionals and features over 200 juried music showcases.

Under the leadership of SXSW co-founder, Louis Jay Meyers, Folk Alliance will also celebrate the centennials for Folk music legends Woody Guthrie, Bill Monroe and Robert Johnson.

Early bird registeration is already open and applications for the official showcase are being accepted as well. The early-bird deadline for all showcase applications is September 24th, with a final deadline slated for November 19th.
