LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Rob Hallett's new live entertainment venture Robomagic has added former DHP Family promoter Bonita McKinney to the staff.
McKinney joins the Robomagic Live side of the company and will focus on signing new artists and artist career development.
While at DHP Family, McKinney handled programming at venues such as Bristol Thekla and the Nottingham Rescue Rooms, as well as booking the Dot to Dot Festival. Prior to joining DHP Family, was an in-house promoter at Academy Music Group.
Regarding McKinney's hire, Hallett said: “I want the most switched on people in the industry working with us and Bonita certainly is. Her knowledge of new music and new artists is incredible and she has a natural instinct for promotion. I’m confident she’s going to be a huge asset to my new business.”
McKinney added: "I am thrilled to be joining Robomagic Live. It is extremely exciting to be involved in a company from the beginning and work with Rob who is without doubt one of the best in the business." – Staff Writers
