‘Bowser’ To Moderate G2E Panel


LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Oldies nostalgia icon, television personality and writer/producer Jon "Bowzer" Bauman will moderate the panel "Channel Surfing: Televised events at Your Casino" at G2E 2006, The Global Gaming Expo, Nov. 14-16, 2006, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Original leader of Sha Na Na, Bauman starred in "Bowzer's Rock 'n' Roll Party," which for seven year's was the nations top-rated syndicated television series, which was taped at Caesars Palace.

G2E organizers American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions have partnered with Alicia Parrish and Clinton Ford Billups Jr., founders of the annual EventPro Forum conference, to produce entertainment-oriented panels at G2E, plus a new 5,000 sq. ft. Entertainment & Event Production Pavilion.

"Bauman's panel will examine how casinos can promote their brands through televised events, including newtwork, cable, syndicated, Internet and mobile programming," Billups told CelebrityAccess.

Panel participants will also include:

  • Linda Crane, President/CEO of Crane Entertainment Organization Inc. Former Senior Vice President of Caesars World Entertainment, Crane has worked on many televised casino events, including ABC's "Casars Palace 30th Anniversary Special" and NBC's "World's Greatest Magic" specials.
  • Joe Leone, Vice President of Entertainment of Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, which was the location for the FOX reality series "The Casino." During the series, Leone provided viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at the challenging world of a casino entertainment executive.
  • Lisa Tenner, Executive Producer, Tenner & Associates, Inc. A veteran entertainment business manager, festival producer and television executive, Tenner is currently producing several casino television projects which will be broadcast on cable, mobile devices and by video on demand.

According to Billups, the EventPro Forum Entertainment and Event Production Pavilion at G2E 2006 will feature exhibits by concert promoters, entertainment agencies, production companies, touring attractions and other entertainment vendors serving the casino industry.

Atrracting more than 25,000 attendees last year, G2E is the world's largest conference and tradeshow for decision-makers in the gaming and casino industry .
