MINNEAPOLIS/St. Paul (CelebrityAccess) — Beverly Hills, CA and Minneapolis/St, Paul, MN (February 28, 2017) – Knitting Factory Entertainment has opened a brand new office in the Twin Cities and named entertainment industry veteran Brad Saks to oversee the venture.
Saks has a decade's worth of experiene in the market, moving to the region in 2007 to open a an office for AEG Live after a four-year stint in New York and Mexico, booking for Ocesa Presents and Metropolitan Talent Presents.
During his tenure with AEG, Saks was responsible for the company's concert promotion business in the Upper Midwest, promoting shows in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Illinois.
Saks was most recently talent buyer and concert promoter at Minneapolis’s Skyway Theatre and and handled booking and promotion for their 2,100 capacity theatre and 400 person club.
Saks began his career at the William Morris Agency after graduating from Skidmore College with a B.S. in Business and Government. He counts Bruce Hornsby, Greensky Bluegrass, Bruce Springsteen, Caravan Palace and Bon Iver among his favorite artists, golf, tennis, skiing, cooking among his hobbies and lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three young daughters. – Staff Writers
