LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Brian Wilson has announced that his upcoming tour of the U.K. has been pushed back into 2016 due to commitments in the US.
The tour had been planned for September 2015, but now Wilson says that he will be touring Europe in 2016. Wilson attributed the postponement to the success of his biopic ‘Love and Mercy’ which is currently in the theaters.
Wilson, who is touring with Al Jardine & Blondie Chaplin, had been on the books for 8 dates in the UK, including shows at Echo Arena in Liverpool, O2 Arena in London and SECC in Glasgow.
"I’m sorry I won’t be able to make these shows this year, but I look forward to seeing all my fans in 2016 to help me celebrate 50 years of ‘Pet Sounds’. This will be my final European tour. I hope you all enjoy my movie when it opens in the UK on July 10th, I’ll see you all soon," Wilson said in a statement posted on his website. – Staff Writers
