LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess) — There is good news and bad news for Britney Spears fans after the performer announced that she had added a three month extension to her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and then tweeted that she'd be rescheduling a show due to an ankle injury.
Spears sustained the injury during an onstage accident where she fell mid-performance and has been advised by her doctors to abstain from performing until she recovers.
"I actually wasn't doing anything that hard," Spears said during an appearance on Ellen Degeneres. "I was just kind of bopping around, and I've done like eight years worth of shows, plenty of shows, and I've never actually fell onstage, so it was really kind of embarrassing."
