Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Expands

BROOKLYN (CelebrityAccess) – Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, an affiliate of Barclays Center, announced that they are restructuring and expanding their programming department to support the growth of the organization, which provides programming at the Barclays Center, Cushman & Wakefield Theater at Barclays Center, the soon-to-be renovated Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, and LIU Brooklyn Paramount Theatre.

New hires in the expanded programming department include:

Tim Kemp is the new Director of Booking; he will handle day-to-day programming operations and support booking initiatives. Prior to joining the organization, Kemp was with Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, handling programming and integrated revenue generation for the arena. Prior to Prudential Center, he handled a wide variety of programming initiatives at XL Center in Hartford, CT. Kemp will report to Sheldon.

James Snodgrass joins the team as Manager of Sports Programming. Snodgrass previously served as General Manager of Hartman Arena in Park City, KS, and, prior to that, as General Manager of the Phil Long Expo Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Snodgrass will report to Manetta.

The organization announced that they also plan to create a Los Angeles-based programming position to continue the organization's expansion with an eye on the West Coast.

BSE also revealed that they are expanding their industry outreach and customer relations program, which will be overseen by Arianna Kane, who is Manager of Artist Experience & Events.

“By growing our resources and with the incredible input from our Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Advisory Board, we are better prepared than ever to continue bringing world-class programming to all of our venues,” said Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “This is a very exciting time for our company.” — Staff Writers
