Carl Stubner Named Co-President, Sanctuary Artist Management

(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Veteran manager Carl Stubner has been named co-president of Sanctuary Artist Management Inc. by Sanctuary Group CEO Merck Mercuriadis, and brings with him Mick Fleetwood, Something Corporate, Von Bondies, Tommy Lee and The Cult.

Stubner will be based in Sanctuary's Los Angeles offices along with fellow co-president Peter Asher. In addition to his management roster, Stubner will have a joint venture record label within the Sanctuary Records Group along with the mandate to sign artists to Sanctuary's other divisions including publishing, merchandising and agency.

"Carl is not only one of the finest managers in the business, he is one of the most beloved,” said Mercuriadis. “He knows how to deliver for his artists and has the respect of the industry. Those that have his combination of experience, passion, energy and ambition can be counted on one hand. With our worldwide infrastructure and 360 degree model we believe that this is a marriage where two plus two equals 10."

Stubner said, "I am very excited about the move to Sanctuary. Sanctuary's predominate market position, global reach and full service infrastructure makes for an ideal platform to provide better and broader services for my clients. As the industry continues to face challenges, it is clear through their success that Sanctuary's 360 degree approach is the music model of the future. I look forward to working closely with Merck in building on Sanctuary strengths and securing the Company's dominant position." –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
