PEACHTREE CITY, GA (CelebrityAccess) — Carol Kelley has been named as the new General Manager for the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater.
Kelley assumed the duties of her new role in December and has been overseeing the venue’s transition to include more events, as well as a broader range of entertainment bookings.
As well, she will oversee a multi-year, planned renovation at the venue that will include improvement for both performers and patrons.
“I am excited to become a part of the Peachtree City community and look forward to using my experience in the music and event industries to continue providing an exceptional entertainment experience to audiences at The Fred,” Kelley said.
Based in Peachtree City, Kelley has nearly 30 years of experience working in the live entertainment biz. After graduating from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Music, Kelley worked in Atlanta for Turner Broadcasting, Variety Playhouse and Center Stage Theatre.
Kelley then went on to work for the City of Jacksonville where she spent 17 years at Metropolitan Park Amphitheater, serving as an event manager and general manager.
More recently, Kelley resided in California and has been the co-owner of a freelance event management company for 9 years providing consulting services for various events.
