(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A source at Clear Channel has confirmed that several high-ranking execs have been laid off at Clear Channel Entertainment, including Chief Operations Officer Miles Wilken, Executive VP of Corporate Operations Mike McGee, Operations VP’s Al DeZon and Jeff Lewis, and VP of Corporate Communications Sydney Greenblatt.
Wilken was named to the COO position approximately one year ago.
DeZon and Lewis were both currently working on CCE ventures in Asia.
While CCE’s corporate office would not comment directly on the changes at the company, industry speculation points toward a large reshuffling in preparation for CCE Spinco, the live entertainment division’s spin-off into a publicly traded company planned for later this year. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
