LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — US comedy duo Cheech & Chong have cancelled their upcoming tour of Australia after revealing that Tommy Chong has been diagnosed with cancer.
The duo's 'Up In Smoke Greatest Hits' tour was due to kick off in Queensland's capital city Brisbane on June 18th.
Chong had previously been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012 but reported that he had been successfully treated for the disease in 2013.
'I have good news and bad news. First the bad news, the cancer came back and it's a real pain in the butt.
'The good news is I now have to use more marijuana to treat the cancer,' the 77-year-old Chong Tweeted on June 17th. – Staff Writers
