WHANGAREI, New Zealand (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A young Red Hot Chili Peppers fan has died in New Zealand after being run over by a car while camping out, waiting to buy tickets to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert.
According to police, the 18-year-old fan was hit early Monday morning while waiting for a ticket outlet in the northern North Island town of Whangarei to open.
The fan was sleeping in the venue’s car park when the incident happened. Local police have not located the driver of the vehicle, who immediately fled the scene following the incident.
