LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Los Angeles police are reportedly preparing to execute a search warrant at singer Chris Brown's Los Angeles home to seek a weapon he allegedly threatened a woman with early Tuesday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Times, police sources say they responded to Brown's residence after a woman called to report that Brown had allegedly pointed a firearm at her in a violent rage.
Officers attempted to enter Brown's home to search, but he exercised his rights and requested a warrant, the unnamed police source told the Times.
TMZ reported that drugs and a weapon were recovered from a duffel bag that Brown allegedly threw out of one of the windows of his home during the standoff.
As the standoff progressed, Brown took to social media to complain about the police and claim that he was being unfairly cast as a villain.
In a series of videos posted to his Instagram, Brown expressed opinions that ranged from surprised and aggrieved to challenging.
“Good luck. When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots,” he said in one video. “I’m tired of … dealing with y’all.”
Brown has had several run-ins with the law in the past, including a six-year stint on probation for attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna, as well as charges of driving without a license and an alleged hit and run. – Saff Writers
