Chuck Morris Named VP Of Development

Chuck Morris, head of Clear Channel Music Rocky Mountain Division,
has been appointed vice president of development for the joint venture between Clear Channel Entertainment and Kroenke Sports Enterprises.

"When we first started our concert division in Colorado, I thought it was imperative to form a strategic alliance between CCE and the Pepsi Center, as well as the entire Kroenke organization," says Morris. "That alliance grew into the development of the Universal Lending CityLights Pavilion which opened on June 15 with a sold out performance by Barry Manilow. Having two great companies like CCE and KSE having the faith in me to continue developing new projects may be the most exciting and challenging job I have ever undertaken. To be able to work with Clear Channel Entertainment's Brian Becker, Don Law, Dave Lucas, Gregg Perloff, and David Mayeri, as well as Kroenke Sports Enterprises' Stan Kroenke, Don Elliman and David Ehrlich is an honor and a challenge."

Gregg Perloff, President/CEO of Clear Channel Music West comments that "Chuck has the experience of a 60-year-old and the energy of a 20-year-old – what a unique combination of street smarts and old world ethics. We know Chuck will be able to navigate and lead us to a new way to do business in these ever-changing times!

Don Elliman, President of Kroenke Sports Enterprises adds, "I am delighted that Chuck Morris is moving into a role that will allow him to focus more of his energy on developing business opportunities for our partnership with Clear Channel. Chuck is a remarkable talent with a track record of business success in the promotion fields that is second to none. (He does call people at all hours of the day and night, but what the heck, nobody's perfect…)."

Morris will continue to act as head of CCE Rocky Mountain Division.
