Chuck Steedman Named COO At AEG Facilities


LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Charles H. (Chuck) Steedman has been promoted to the post of Chief Operating Officer at AEG Facilities.

In his new role, Steedman will be responsible for overseeing the fiscal planning and day-to- day operations for AEG Facilities, which operates or owns more than 100 venues around the world. Steedman will also coordinate with AEG Global Partnerships in naming-rights and sponsorship agreements, as well as premium services at AEG venues.

Having joined AEG in 2008 as Sr. Vice President and General Manager of AEG Connecticut LLC, Steedman went on to lead the organization’s expansion into South America, including orchestrating management agreements with four stadia in Brasil, as well as overseeing the creation of AEG’s Brazilian subsidiaries.

Steedman was also involved in developing events for AEG, including a joint venture with USA Gymnastics that resulted in the creation of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, which toured the United States for 40 dates following the 2012 Olympics in London, which set the record for ticket sales in numerous markets.

Prior to joining AEG, Steedman spent a tenure at New England Sports Ventures (NESV), the parent company of the Boston Red Sox, New England Sports Network (NESN) and Fenway Sports Group (FSG). Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions Raycom Sports, the American Skiing Company and the Resorts Sports Network. – Staff Writers
