MeasureCast, Incorporated, the first company to provide Internet radio broadcasters with next-day streaming audience size and demographics data, reports that another Internet radio milestone was reached in March when the Clear Channel Worldwide network of on-line radio stations became the first Web radio network to stream more than 4 million hours of programming in a single month.
The March MeasureCast Internet Radio Report shows that Clear Channel Worldwide's 198 on-line AM and FM stations streamed 4,873,030 hours, making it the most-listened to Web radio network measured by MeasureCast. The WARP Radio network of AM and FM stations secured second place by streaming 2,707,351 hours. The top 10 streaming radio networks delivered a combined total of 17,758,934 programming hours in March, up from 11,555,369 hours streamed in February, and 12,738,552 hours delivered in January.
