(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Officials at the Clio Area Amphitheater are being faced with using a regular tarp to cover the shed’s leaky roof for the off-season, unless they can come up with the funds quickly.
“It was something we didn’t expect we would have to do,” Tom Yost, Clio city administrator told the Flint Journal. “If we can’t find the cash, we will more than likely cover the roof so there won’t be anymore damage over the winter.
The city owns the venue, but the Clio Amphitheater Board of Governors was responsible for the property’s maintenance.
With the closing of the theater in August, the city had to pick up maintaining the property.
Yost told the paper that the amphitheater’s roof needs to be replaced and the structure needs to be rebuilt. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
