SHREVEPORT, LA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A Louisiana nightclub owner is promising refunds after hundreds of ticketholders were turned away from a rap concert at Club Ice last week.
The concert, featuring rapper Rick Ross, brought a flood of music fans to downtown Shreveport, after the concert promoter, who is not affiliated with the club, sold three times more tickets than allowed capacity at the club.
When the club filled up, owner Timothy Huck closed the doors, leaving hundreds outside, despite the fact that they were holding tickets priced as high as $52 each.
Ticketholders told local news station KSLA News 12 that the crowd grew upset, and refused to leave without refunds. Police were called in for crowd control and to disperse the angry group.
Huck told the station that anyone with a hard-copy ticket can get a refund just by calling or going to the club in person. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
