In addition to showcasing thousands of performers in clubs all over the city to more than 50,000 music consumers, CMJ Music Marathon hosts four days of non-stop events, including panels, keynote speeches, film premieres, mentoring sessions, tutorials, and a sizzling, interactive exhibition area.
According to CMJ CEO Robert Haber, "We are thrilled to expand to the Javits Center this year – the Javits allows us to present new, large-scale events that weren’t even imaginable in the past," said CMJ CEO Robert Haber. "Additionally our official hotel headquarters, the new and ridiculously cool Westin Times Square just off pulsating 42nd St. will serve as a more intimate setting for smaller meetings, panels and discussions. I think the new combination of venues, along with all of our performance spaces, will prove to be the perfect balance for presenting the best entertainment, networking and educational opportunities in this crucial year for our industry.” –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
