INDIO, Cali. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Blur, The Stone Roses, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the French pop outfit Phoenix will headline this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
As per last year, the festival will take place over the course of two consecutive weekends. April 12-14 and April 19-21, and the lineup will be the same for both weekends.
Performers on the lineup for Friday include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, Grinderman, Lou Reed, Bassnectar and a reunited Jurassic 5. Saturday artists include the XX, New Order, Hot Chip, Simian Mobile Disco, Grizzly Bear, Moby, Sigur Ros, the Violent Femmes and The Postal Service reunion; Artists lined up for Sunday include Nick Cave, Vampire Weekend, Erik Prydz, Dead Can Dance, Social Distortion, the Lumineers, Paul Oakenfold, the Gaslight Anthem and Wu-Tang Clan.
