Colorado Music Business Group Warns Against Fraudulent Promoter

DENVER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Colorado Music Business Organization, or COMBO, has issued a warning against an alleged scammer who may be operating in the Denver Metro area.

According to COMBO, Jason "Ponce" Quintana with Evil Empire Entertainment has allegedly been taking money from at least ten bands in the region, claiming to have stages at Mayhem Fest, Mile High Music Fest, Alice in Chains and The Deftones concerts. COMBO also alleges that Quintana is claiming to have business ties with Clear Channel, Live Nation or AEG, all of which denied working with Quintena.

COMBO believes that thousands of dollars have already been lost to alleged fraud in this case.

Quintena has had past run-ins with the law and made the list for Colorado's top 50 most wanted in 2006 on charges of fraud and forgery.

COMBO claims to be considering a class action lawsuit against Quintena and asked those who have a complaint to contact Coloradomusicianfraud@gmail.com.

Mr. Quintena could not be located for comment. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
