NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — John Oliver is having a busy year. The British comedian and long-time "Daily Show" correspondent was tapped to serve as guest host for the show during Jon Stewart's eight-week hiatus this summer and after that wraps up, he is hitting the road for a tour in the fall.
Oliver joined the Daily Show in 2006 and has won awards, including an Emmy and a Writer's Guild Award for his writing; and he won the Breakout Award at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen.
The tour, promoted by Live Nation, has four shows on the books.
