LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After eight years of salsa and merengue, Los Angeles’ premier Latin music nightclub is closing down at the end of the month, with plans to reopen in two years.
The Conga Room, one of the first concept clubs focused on Cuban and Hispanic-based music, will be moving to AEG’s L.A. Live downtown entertainment complex being built across from the Staples Center.
The club was known as a popular location for celebrities, politicians, and just about anyone looking for good music and dancing. It also boasted famous investors, including Jennifer Lopez, Jimmy Smits, and comedian Paul Rodriguez. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
