CANANDAIGUA, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center has brought in some new muscle to support their operations, Metropolitan Talent Presents and SMG.
According to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, the PAC has brought in the two firms to replace Rochester Broadway Theatre League which has booked and managed to venue for 24 years, after agreeing that RTBL did not have sufficient staff to effectively operate the facility.
John Scher's Metropolitan Talent Presents, a subsidiary of Metropolitan Talent Inc, will handle booking and promoting operations for the PAC, giving him opportunity to cross swords again with rival Live Nation, which books nearby Darien Lake Performing Arts Center.
Philadelphia-based SMG has been brought in as well, to handle venue operations, including staffing and concessions. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
