Counting Crows Sign With Atlas Music Publishing

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Atlas Music Publishing has signed a global music publishing deal with rock outfit Counting Crows.

The agreement covers the band's entire catalog, with the exception of their current release, including “Mr. Jones”, “Accidentally In Love”, “Round Here”, “A Long December” and “Colourblind.”

"The Counting Crows have a legacy of writing hits centered around unforgettable storytelling, beautiful harmonies, superior musicianship, and of course Adam Duritz’s distinctive vocals but it’s also the deeper catalog that has all of us at Atlas really excited about our new partnership with the band. By exposing the depth and quality of not only the hits, but the gems within the catalog, songs like “Goodnight LA”, “Why You Should Come When I Call”, “Mercury” and “Insignificant” can speak to the leagues of loyal fans and also to a new generation of listeners,” said ennifer Blakeman, Chief Creative Officer at Atlas.

Founded by industry veteran Richard Stumpf in 2013, Atlas provides publishing services for Madonna, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Luke Bryan, Keyshia Cole, Icona Pop, Prince Royce and Colbie Caillat. – Staff Writers
