BERLIN (CelebrityAccess) — German promoter, Carlos Fleischmann's Creative Talent GmbH has filed court papers asking for insolvency proceedings to start for the troubled company.
The request was approved by District Court of Berlin-Charlottenburg and the court appointed and appointed attorney-at-law Thomas Kühn from the law firm Brinkmann & Partner as the interim receiver.
The interim receiver is currently at the company and is reviewing the potential prospects for continuing the business together with the management. The objective is to be able to stage as many of the scheduled concerts and events as possible. To this end, the necessary discussions with ticket agencies, management teams and backers are underway.
Creative Talent blamed their insolvency on the cancellation of the Backstreet Boys tour in the summer, as well as a number of other high-profile events, combined with a generally below-par summer concert season.
Fleischmann acquired a full controlling stake of Creative in 2009, after buying back the 50% of the firm that had been sold to German entertainment company DEAG. – Staff Writers
