HAMBURG, Germany (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — European ticketing giant CTS Eventim has continued their expansion with the acquisition of Hamburg-based See Tickets Germany/Ticket Online Group.
See Tickets is a major player in the German ticketing market, headquartered in Hamburg with regional offices in Berlin, Brunswick, Dortmund, Frankfurt am Main and Munich. Annually, the company sells more than 20 million tickets a year, focused primarily on theatrical and cultural events. When See Tickets is added to Eventim's own ticket sales, it pushes the company over 100 million tickets a year.
The acquisition also saw Eventim signing a twelve-year ticketing deal with Stage Entertainment Germany, a major theatrical producer who has staged events such as 'The Lion King', 'Mamma Mia', 'Tarzan'
and 'Holiday on Ice'.
