Dana Warg Joins Nederlander Concerts


(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Dana Warg, a 23-year music industry veteran has been named by Nederlander Concerts, executive vice president of programming and development. In his new role, Warg will oversee the day-to-day programming and operations of the West Coast division including acquisitions, booking and development.

Nederlander, president of the Nederlander Organization. “We have several new business opportunities in development, and we see Dana as the ideal person to coordinate and implement our expansion in the future.“

Warg’s vast experience includes independent concert promotion, arena/theatre operations and management, project development, as well as sports management, acquisitions and special event presentations.

Warg was vice president of arena operations for SFX Music Group where his main responsibilities included the acquisition, management and operations of arena properties for SFX Music throughout North America. Preceding the SFX Music group, he spent 11 years as CEO of the 19,000-seat Target Center in Minneapolis, among the top ten grossing arenas in the U.S. at that time. Warg was also a vice president of Ogden Entertainment where he oversaw the marketing and management of several NHL and NBA facilities. Warg joined Ogden Entertainment as vice president of operations for North America in 1987 after more than a decade of experience in managing multi-purpose arenas.
