Danny Zelisko Presents On The Move In Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Downtown Phoenix is about to get a brand new nightspot, the Foundry On First with a little help from veteran promoter Danny Zelisko.

The Foundry On First, built in the 18,000-square-foot space at 402 S. First St, will be a 1,500 capacity club with a general admission format with VIP booths. According to the Arizona Republic, the club is owned and operated by investors David Wallach, Ryan Tardif and Tim Thomas, with Keith Jackson, a local musician, as the club's general manager. Danny Zelisko's new company Danny Zelisko Presents will be responsible for booking duties at the club.

"This town needed something new and interesting to happen," Danny Zelisko told the Arizona Republic. "Nothing against anybody, really. But for years, shows have gone to this venue or that venue almost by default. Now, we have something new in the mix."

Zelisko launched his new company in February after stepping down from his post as Chairman of Live Nation Southwest. Zelisko is no stranger to the market, first launching his former promotion company Evening Star Presents in the market 1974, which he eventually sold to Live Nation predecessor SFX Entertainment in 2001.

The club is set to launch on with a grand-opening celebration on July 9th & 10th with two shows by Cowboy Mouth. Other artists with scheduled gigs on the club's calendar include Blondie, the Love Me Nots, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Queensryche, Blue October, Buddy Guy, The Adrian Belew Power Trio and Black Label Society. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
