MACON, GA (CelebrityAccess) — Venue management company Spectra by Comcast Spectacor has named David Aiello as General Manager of both the Macon Coliseum and Macon City Auditorium.
Prior to his new billet, Aiello served as General Manager and Director of Marketing at the Tsongas Center and Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA, which are also operated by Spectra.
Aiello, a graduate from the University of Louisville, started his career with Comcast Spectacor in 2008 as Assistant Marketing Manager at the Wells Fargo Center, the company’s flagship arena in Philadelphia, PA. During his eightyear career with Spectra, Aiello also served as Marketing Director at the Glen Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, NY; and at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, VA.
While he was in Lowell, Aiello assisted in booking more than 200 events for both venues and cut the city deficit to a loss of $200,000, which is the lowest in the 94-year history of the Auditorium, Spectra said. – Staff Writers
