JACKSONVILLE, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Derek Trucks will take a break from the Derek Trucks Band to focus on the Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band.
In an interview that is now up on the Canadian website, Canoe, Derek Trucks addresses the future of his various projects. In terms of the Derek Trucks Band, he states, “We’re going to take a break for a few years." Trucks announced that the Derek Trucks Band will not be gigging this year and possibly next.
The Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band will continue its current tour through the beginning of October. Additionally, Trucks will perform at the House Of Blues on Sunset Strip of Los Angeles for the Guitar Center 'King Of The Blues' Contest Finals.
