Amid the SARS scare and tour and promotional appearance cancellations in Toronto by Elton John/Billy Joel, Kelly Clarkson, Styx, Dave Davies, The Hot Club of Cowton (five nights), Lisa Marie Presley, Michelle Branch, Bright Eyes, Concrete Blonde, Aretha Franklin, Ravi Shankar and others, some artists haven't cancelled.

According to their websites, Matchbox Twenty and the Red Hot Chili Pepper shows are still on, May 7 and May 13, respectively, at Air Canada Centre; Poison, with Vince Neil and Skid Row in support, will be performing in Toronto on June 3 at Molson Amphitheater.

The World Health Organisation's non-essential travel warning was lifted on April 29, a week after it was announced, due to evidence from Canadian health officials that the illness was under control.
