dick clark productions, inc. has teamed with Edward J. Fishman and Tristan Shaun Del to launch a new record label, Access Records, for emerging talent. The Russian pop supergroup NA-NA! is the first artist on the label.
NA-NA!, in its present form, was created seven years ago and has been guided by legendary Russian musician, manager and producer, Bari Alibasov. The group has achieved immense popularity in the former Soviet Union, having performed more than 3,000 sold-out concerts and sold in excess of 60 million albums.
Additionally, NA-NA! is the only pop music act to have received seven "Ovation" awards, Russia's top musical honor. Most recently, the Ovation award for "Best Pop Group of the Decade" was bestowed upon them at the 2001 ceremony.
